DrillPro Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data the DrillPro app (Android, iOS and web, package
com.drillpro.app) collects, why, who it is shared with, and how you can

1. Data we collect

We do not collect precise location, contacts, SMS, call logs, health or financial account data.
2. Service providers we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers that run parts of the service for us:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, cloud functions, hosting, push notifications, App Check): all data above.
- Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini): the content of AI assistant requests, to generate answers. They receive your request content only, not your email address.
- RevenueCat: your internal account ID and purchase records, to manage subscriptions.
- Google Play / Apple App Store: payment processing and app updates.
- Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd): payment processing, tax and invoicing for plans bought on the web or desktop. Paddle is the merchant of record for those purchases and receives your email address, billing country and payment details directly; we receive your internal account ID and purchase status. - Google AdMob: advertising data on the free plan. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
3. How we use your data
We use the data above to run DrillPro for you. We may also use it to improve DrillPro — for example to fix problems, understand which features are used, and make the assistant's answers more accurate — and to develop and provide other DrillPro services and features. When we use your work or your assistant conversations for these purposes, we use it in aggregated or de-identified form, so it is not linked to you. We do not sell your data.
4. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest by Google Cloud. Each account can only access its own records. New email accounts must confirm their address before they can use the app. AI provider keys are held on our servers and are never shipped in the app.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and data at any time:
- In the app: Settings & Help → Delete account & data, or
- Without the app: follow the steps on the account deletion page.
Deletion removes your account, your records and your uploaded files. We keep a record of the deletion that contains no direct personal identifiers, for compliance. Purchase records held by Google Play, Apple or RevenueCat follow their own retention rules.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to its processing. Email abdalla.drillpro@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days.
7. Children
DrillPro is a professional tool for adults in the drilling industry. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Safety disclaimer
DrillPro is a calculation aid. Verify all results independently before using them in any well control or drilling operation.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app for significant changes.
